Our History

Established in 1950, Catawba Radiology is recognized today as the expert providers of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services in the Unifour and surrounding area.  Our practice is committed to:

• the delivery of exceptional care with every patient encounter
• staying up-to-date with the most advanced technology related to our specialty and
• enthusiastic support of the community we serve through active involvement

Demonstrated by ongoing commitment to training and education, our 17 physicians are passionate about the critical role radiology plays in the care of our patients.  We are experienced, board certified and focused in sub-specialties to ensure our community has immediate access, 24 hours a day/7 days a week, to a local physician expert in radiology; the medical specialty that is key in diagnosing, treating and monitoring medical conditions and diseases. 

Our rich practice history includes vigorous support of both our medical community and the community- at-large.  Our physicians as well as our staff are active in various radiology associations at the local, state and national levels and fulfill numerous leadership roles within those, including past and present Chief of Staffs of our local hospitals and past Presidents of the American College of Radiology.  We are greatly appreciative of the opportunity to serve the Unifour and surrounding area for the past 65 years and remain engaged and committed to it through participation, support and leadership in activities and initiatives that secure its continued growth and success.
