Shared Experiences

Susan Lyons

Breast Cancer Survivor
Diagnosed at age 34

Our experience with Catawba Radiology has been outstanding. Being able to request screening by the same radiologist, Dr. Chandra Baker, who knows our individual breast issues and history is truly a blessing. We feel confident knowing that Dr. Baker is going above and beyond to look at our cases closely. Her compassion is immeasurable as she always eases our concerns by communicating directly with us at our appointments. She’s an expert in her field and we recommend her to anyone who needs a radiologist, especially for breast issues. If we had to choose one word to describe our relationship with Catawba Radiology, it would be collaboration because we feel like we’ve partnered with Catawba Radiology and Dr. Baker in our ongoing breast health care.

Medical staff kind, professional
“I would like to take the time to thank the fine staff at Frye Care. So many times we hear of unprofessional behavior, rudeness and neglect when we are dealing with the medical professionals. My experience this week was totally opposite. I was dealing with a stressful and very scary medical situation. Unsure of the outcome, I preceded to get to the bottom of it. After much prayer and prayer warriors supporting me, my appointment day arrived. I was ushered into the facility with nothing but gentleness and kindness. I was handled in a professional, yet personal manner. My test results were scary, but the staff rearranged their schedule to help me get the results I needed. They explained everything to me before they ever touched me and proceeded to do everything they explained. My recovery time was pain free and restful. They called to check on me and were very thorough on making sure I was OK. I just wanted to let Dr. Holtzman and his staff Michelle W., Kimand Michelle D. know how much I appreciate the warmth and kindness they showed to me.”
